The E-Stitches Collective Zine – Issue 1

This first issue of The E-Stitches Collective Zine features 29 inspiring e-textile projects created by members of the e-stitches community. Showcasing works from past to present, it highlights an array of e-textile practices: artistic, performative, speculative, design-oriented, and participatory projects. These projects span across spatial, wearable, and workshop formats, weaving together creative practices that invite interaction, spark conversation, produce sound, illuminate surfaces, and envision bio-based electronic futures.

We printed a limited number of copies, some of which are headed to the E-Textiles Conference in Berlin, November 19-21, 2024. If you’d like a copy, we have just 10 available for purchase here. By purchasing a zine, you’re supporting the growth of the e-stitches collective, helping to share valuable content, and backing the sustainable future of this entirely volunteer-run, not-for-profit community.

The zine has 40 pages and measures 250mm x 170mm, printed on 55gsm newsprint by the Newspaper Club, giving it the feel of an authentic mini-newspaper.
