We are Sara + Sarah (Sara Robertson and Sarah Taylor) we’ve worked together since 2014 and started our business in the Scottish Borders in 2018. Our work focusses on transforming textile properties through existing manufacturing capability within the UK. We work with the aesthetic, material and programmable properties of smart textiles and explore markets and creative opportunities for their use beyond wearables. Working closely with MYB Textiles a world leading lace manufacturer based in Scotland we have developed large scale light emitting lace and a prototype control interface for theatre and performance industries.
